ITINERARY

Day I – UDAIPUR (THE CITY OF LAKES)

·          On Arrival at Udaipur  you are given a traditional welcome by our representative. There after you are transferred to the hotel. Maharana Udai Singh founded Udaipur in 1559 A.D.  Day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day – II - UDAIPUR - CAPITAL OF THE MEWAR

·          Early morning we start our full day sight seeing of Udaipur city. We first drive to the city palace (A majestic architectural marvel), and then we visit the Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum (it has a interesting collection of India folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, etc).  In afternoon we start for Saheliyon ki bari (garden of the maids of honour), Pratap memorial, Fateh sagar of Picholla lake.  At the day’s end we have dinner at a renowned restaurant in the city’s suburbs.  Overnight at hotel.

Day III – EXCURSION TO CHITTAURGARH (110 KMS)

·          Today we set off for the excursion to the historic city of Chittaurgarh (110 kms)  We reach Udaipur back by late evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day IV – EXCURSION TO KUMBALGARH

·          After a light breakfast we start for an excursion to the perched atop the Aravalis.

·          Built in the 15^th century by Maharana Kumbha, it extends over 12 kms and encloses many temples, palaces & gardens. The Badal Mahal offers or cloud palace offers a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the surrounding countryside.  At the day’s end we return to Udaipur and we have dinner at a renowned restaurant in the city’s suburbs.  Overnight at hotel.

 Day V – RANAKPUR (THE CITY OF TEMPLES)

·          Excursion to Ranakpur temples.  

·          CATCH DOMESTIC FLIGHT/ TRAIN THE SAME / NEXT DAY (AS PER YOUR PROGRAM) FROM AIRPORT OR RAILWAY STATION, FOR YOUR NEXT DESTINATION / HOME TOWN.
